Corporate bond market searches for answers

After more than three months of stable and attractive funding conditions, the European corporate bond market has been turned on its head by the UK EU referendum result.

Along with other asset classes, corporate bond market movements ahead of the referendum had assumed a Remain victory. After rally on Monday, corporate spreads had held tight until Thursday’s shock result.
