Green light for China Renaissance onshore JV

China Renaissance has been given the thumbs up to set up a Mainland securities joint venture by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).

The firm received official approval on Monday for Shanghai-based Huajing Securities. The JV has a registered capital of Rmb1bn ($154m) and will provide services ranging from securities brokerage, investment advisory and asset management to underwriting and sponsorship of IPOs, according to China Renaissance’s statement.
