BPI to make overseas loan debut with $250m facility

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is poised to make its debut in the international syndicated loan market with a $250m fundraising.

The Baa2/BBB- rated lender has picked four banks for its maiden outing. Australia and New Zealand Bank, HSBC, Mizuho and Standard Chartered will bring the three year loan into general syndication sometime in April, said bankers on the trade.
