Citi Asia Pacific posts solid numbers for 2015

Citi’s Asia Pacific franchise posted a solid set of numbers in 2015, which regional CEO Francisco Aristeguieta is keen to continue in a volatile 2016, according to an internal memo seen by GlobalCapital Asia.

The institutional clients group (ICG) was the main contributor with $6.4bn in revenues and $3.3bn in earnings before interest and tax (Ebit). The latter was up 9% year-on-year thanks to the strong performance of the markets and securities services unit.
