Dutch see ‘record high’ property turnover

Dutch houses changed hands at a record rate in December as tighter lending rules and a reduction in the maximum mortgage size eligible for government guarantee begin to bite.

Gathering momentum in the Dutch property market is supporting record low spreads in Dutch RMBS, along with a lack of supply from Dutch names in recent months and years and purchases by the European Central Bank.
