Dark night for JPM as it loses levfin MD to Bain

Nigel Walder has quit JP Morgan after over a decade at the firm to move to Bain Capital. He was most recently a managing director for European leveraged finance capital markets, and had been in that role for three years.

He started his career at JP Morgan in 1999, and apart from a year at Pendragon Capital from 2003-2004 he has been at the bank for his entire career.

He will now join Bain Capital’s European operations.
