Geberit's loan to buy Sanitec is 'a blowout'

The syndication for Swiss bathroom fixtures maker Geberit’s Sfr1.29bn (€1.07bn) loan to buy Sanitec of Finland will be allocated next week, said a banker on the deal.

The banker said subscriptions for the syndication had been very high, adding “it’s been a blowout”.

The loan has two tranches, a bridge-to-bond of Sfr900m and bridge-to-term-loan of €400m. JP Morgan is the only mandated lead arranger.
