Dortmund gets Puma, Evonik support for rights

Borussia Dortmund, the top flight German football team, is set to raise €114m through a rights issue that has already gained the support of the club’s three major sponsors.

The club — which is the second largest in Germany and the eleventh biggest in the world by revenue — will raise the cash to reduce debt and for potential investment. Dortmund is Germany’s only listed football club.
