Aban Offshore fetches $125m via well-received QIP

India’s Aban Offshore has raised Rp7.5bn ($125m) through a qualified institutional placement, in a deal that was 2.3 times subscribed and allowed the company to increase the size of its capital raising.

The company approached investors with a base offering size of Rp4.5bn, but the deal had no trouble raking in demand. Some Rp10bn of bids came in when books opened, leading Aban to increase the final size to Rp7.5bn.
