Barclays hires Kotecha for FX, Nomura boosts Malaysia IB

Barclays has appointed Mitul Kotecha to lead its Asia Pacific FX strategy team in what is a new position for the bank. He relocates from Hong Kong to Singapore and he started his job last week.
Following stints at UBS, ING and Standard Chartered, Kotecha was at Crédit Agricole for 14 years. He relocated to Hong Kong from London in 2008 to continue the role of head of global foreign exchange research at Calyon.
