Game over: Giant closes $850m with 15 players

Chinese company Giant Interactive has closed its $850m leveraged buyout loan almost three months after it opened into syndication, with eight banks joining the deal.

Among the mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners, BNP Paribas took $60m, China Minsheng Bank $180m and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (International) $115m, while Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan got $50m each, said a banker close to the deal.
