KoGas 12 year blasts through issuer's existing curve

Korea Gas Corp (KoGas) priced its third dollar deal of the year on Monday, with the issuer attracting a wave of interest despite choosing an unconventional 12 year tenor. The new bond priced well inside the borrower's curve.
There has been a very strong bid for Korean credits in recent weeks. After the Republic of Korea’s blockbuster dollar-euro dual tranche deal on June 3, Korea Exchange Bank and GS Caltex both priced issues inside their existing curves as buyers flocked to the trades.
