BAML's advisory turn lures Warburg lifer Waddell

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Tim Waddell as vice-chairman of corporate and investment banking for EMEA, as it affirms the importance of international advisory business in its investment bank.
Waddell has spent the past 28 years at UBS, having originally joined SG Warburg, the premier British merchant bank swallowed by Swiss Banking Corporation.
At UBS, Waddell was chairman of UK coverage and advisory and had been co-head of UK investment banking and co-head of corporate broking.
