Citi’s Faruqui ends 23 yrs with move to ANZ

Farhan Faruqui, Citi’s head of corporate and investment banking for Asia Pacific, has left the bank after 23 years to join ANZ as chief executive for international banking.

Raymond McGuire, Citi's global head of corporate and investment banking, told employees in a memo on May 13. He said Faruqui had been contemplating a change of scenery for some time and that a replacement would be revealed in the next few weeks.

McGuire did not say where Faruqui was heading, ...
