September sukuk to end Pakistan’s nine year absence

Pakistan is targeting September to issue what would be only its second dollar denominated sukuk, a spokesperson from the country’s ministry of finance told GlobalCapital.
“We are planning to tap the international sukuk market in September,” said the spokesperson. “We’ve started the work now, but it will take a couple of months to finalise the details.”
