Volkswagen cruises into sterling for unflashy £300m bond

Another day, another bond issue for Volkswagen, which plunged into the sterling market on Tuesday, only three UK working days after a €300m three year FRN that was tightly priced but did not set the world alight.

Volkswagen, Europe’s biggest corporate bond issuer, has been more active than ever this year, as the reviving economy and the popularity of its cars are giving it plenty of funding to do.
