Deutsche slips in CEEMEA, Citi takes the lead

After finishing last year at the top of the CEEMEA bond bookrunner league tables, Deutsche Bank has slipped to eighth position in Dealogic’s ranking for the first quarter of this year.

But Deutsche's slip was the result of an “unfortunate” quarter where the bank was rotated off several CEEMEA sovereign mandates, not a pullback from the region, said a source at the bank.
