Regulators’ G20 report highlights clearing issues

The over-the-counter derivatives regulators group has identified the treatment of branches and affiliates and the registration of foreign organised trading platforms as the focus of cross-border concerns in a report to the G20.
The group, which is made up regulatory authorities from Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, Singapore, the US and Europe, plans to produce a series of such reports over the course of the year. This is in line with an agreement at the September 2013 St. Petersburg summit
