Citi, HSBC, RBS and Santander slammed by Fed on capital

Citigroup, HSBC, RBS Citizens and Santander USA have failed stress tests, and face having to resubmit capital plans, after the US Federal Reserve failed them for stress tests.

The Fed published the outcome of its 2014 Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review overnight, highlighting problems with the capital plans of four major banks, as well as Zions Bancorp.
