Ross Williams, managing director in proprietary credit trading at Bear Stearns in London, has left the firm. As first reported on DW's Web site, he reported to Oliver Blount, managing director in loan capital markets in London, who declined comment on any replacement.
Williams, reached on his cell, said he resigned last week and has taken a new position, declining to name the employer or the nature of the role. Market officials have connected him with a London-based hedge fund.
