Babcock seeks A$300m for expansion as Challenger lists

Babcock & Brown, the Australian-listed merchant bank and advisory firm, aims to raise about A$300m ($225m) of new equity for expansion, it announced yesterday (Thursday) morning Australian time.

There is also a roughly A$100m sale of secondary shares held by management which are coming out of lock-up.
