Natixis stock a 'must-have' for 2.8m investors

Natixis, the financial services venture formed by Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Epargne, raised Eu4.22bn with ease this week as its share sale generated huge demand.

Some 2.8m retail investors put in Eu4.35bn of orders and ABN Amro, Lazard-Ixis/Natexis and Merrill Lynch gathered Eu8bn of institutional demand.
