Peugeot ends speculation with equity deals, but still months to wait

PSA Peugeot Citroën announced a €5.7bn restructuring on Wednesday that will bring an end to speculation about the loss-making car maker’s future but will not be closed for months.

The company is set to launch a €1.4bn rights issue in second quarter of 2014, as had been rumoured. Shareholders will also be offered free warrants that will allow shareholders to buy three new shares at €7.50 each, the price in the private deals, for every ten warrants ...
