Merrill’s Zander quits BofA as more staff leave

Ex-Merrill Lynch banker Steve Zander, who was named head of the global distressed business under the combined entity with Bank of America in November, has resigned.

Zander was one of eight Merrill Lynch bankers who scooped top jobs under Tom Montag, global head of markets, when appointments were made ahead of the merger last year.
