Credit Suisse slashes Asian securities jobs

The round of investment banking job cuts reached Asia yesterday (Thursday) as Credit Suisse made 50 people redundant in the region.

 One banker told EuroWeek that the cuts had been made in the Asian arm of its global securities department, which handles equities and fixed income within the investment banking division. Credit Suisse declined to comment. However, a source said that the 50 job losses were part of a ...
