Bankers circle Heart Care buy-out as bidding round closes

I-Med Network, the Australian radiology company owned by CVC Capital Partners, was set to close the first round of bidding on Tuesday for its 75% stake in Heart Care Group, providing a rare burst of activity in the Australian leveraged finance market.

Private equity firms that are circling the cardiovascular care specialist include Ironbridge Capital, Pacific Equity Partners and Gresham Private Equity. The sale is supported by an unusual A$130m three year stapled finance that is provided by ANZ, Bank of Scotland National Australia Bank and Westpac.
