Indian investors make StanChart wait as first overseas listing draws slow response

Indian investors showed little interest in the country’s first listing of depositary receipts this week, leaving Standard Chartered’s landmark offering just 11% covered with only one day of bookbuilding to go.

StanChart was looking to sell 240m Indian Depositary Receipts at a price of Rp100-Rp115, raising Rp24-Rp27.6bn ($512m-589m).
