FTSE launches IPO index for Asian markets

FTSE GROUP and Renaissance Capital launched two equity indices focusing on Asian initial public offerings on May 14, to take advantage of mounting investor interest in the region.

The FTSE Renaissance Asia Pacific ex-Japan IPO index will incorporate IPOs from Australia, Hong Kong (including Chinese stocks listed in the city), India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
