BarCap’s Joshi joins Deutsche to head equities

Deutsche Bank has hired Dixit Joshi to head its equities business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, a new position at the bank.

Joshi resigned from Barclays Capital last week. He was head of equities for Emea since his appointment in 2008. Joshi had joined BarCap from Credit Suisse First Boston in 2003.

He starts in October, reporting to the global head of equities Garth Ritchie.
