China South shunted aside in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong debut in ‘H’ share format of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corp yesterday (Thursday) failed to live up to the spectacular ‘A’ share launch in Shanghai on Monday.

The shares rose by only 1% as investor enthusiasm was again sapped by a fall of 2.35% in the Hong Kong market’s ‘H’ share index. This is down almost 13% since early August and 46.5% below its peak last October.
