Indonesia may delay Islamic bond, says minister

The Republic of Indonesia will likely delay its first sale of dollar-denominated Islamic bonds, according to comments from the country’s national planning development minister on Friday.

Minister Paskah Suzetta said Indonesia’s debut global sukuk, originally scheduled for November, was unlikely to go ahead in the difficult market conditions, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the plans.
