CCB increases loans to boost Chinese growth

China Construction Bank said it would lend an extra Rmb30bn-Rmb50bn ($4.3bn-$7.3bn) to Chinese companies before the end of 2008, as the Chinese government put pressure on its state-owned banks to boost the nation’s slowing growth.
