New US ops head for Nikko AM

Nikko Asset Management has appointed Michael Herring as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for the US.

Herring joined the Japanese asset management firm from a position as chief financial officer and head of risk management at Bay Harbour Management.

Based in New York, Herring reports to Charles Beazley, president of Nikko AM Europe. He replaced Frank Orzechowski. Herring started in April, but the appointment ...
