Bumi turns to CB market again to fund expansion plans

Bumi Resources, the Indonesian mining group controlled by the influential Bakrie family, was set to launch its second convertible bond of the year late on Thursday night after announcing a $300m seven year deal via sole bookrunner Credit Suisse.

The Reg S deal comes with a put option in November 2010, May 2012 and November 2014 and a conversion premium of 30% and was being offered at a coupon range of 4%-5% to yield 4.75%-5.75%.
