Türk Telekom mandates for Invitel acquisition facility

Turkey’s biggest fixed line operator, Türk Telekom, has mandated BNP Paribas, HSBC, ING, RZB and WestLB for its Eu200m seven year club loan, according to bankers familiar with the deal.

WestLB is co-ordinating the facility, which will be used to finance the company’s acquisition of Invitel International. Türk Telekom signed a share purchase agreement worth Eu221m for the 100% buy-out of Invitel in May.
