Polsat leads Polish charge to loan market

Poland’s Cyfrowy Polsat has secured Z1.6bn ($552.4bn) and Eu350m in five year loans to finance its acquisition of Poland’s second largest broadcaster, Polsat.

The Z1.6bn loan is split between a Z200m revolving facility and a Z1.4bn term loan. It has been launched into syndication while the lead banks are providing the Eu350m bridge facility. Citi, Crédit Agricole and RBS are leading the deal.
