Italy 1 opens Spac market

JPMorgan and Banca IMI on Monday opened the books for the up-to Eu150m launch of Italy 1, the country’s first special purpose acquisition company, which is modelled on forerunner Germany 1. Books are due to close on January 21.

The Spac is being co-sponsored by Vito Gambarale, the former Telecom Italia and Autostrada manager, as well as the team behind Germany 1, BLM Partners — Berger Lahnstein and Middelhoff.
