Forestry blames ‘irregularities’ for stock trading halt

Equity investors wondering why China Forestry Holdings has suspended trading in its stock got a little clarity this week, when the company said its auditor had discovered "irregularities".

The company suspended trading in its stock on January 26 but did not explain its actions until releasing the statement on Monday. China Forestry’s shares had not yet started trading again as EuroWeek Asia went to press on Wednesday evening.
