CamGSM’s early repayment fuels Cambodia deal hopes

Cambodian mobile phone operator CamGSM has repaid a $421m facility used to finance its acquisition by Royal Group four months early, sparking hopes that more international lenders will commit money to projects in the country.

"This should help people see that maybe Cambodia is not such a difficult place to do business," said a banker close to the deal. "This could encourage others to invest."
