Vietnam goes global as HAGL prices in London

Vietnamese conglomerate Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) on Wednesday became the first company from the country to list on the London Stock Exchange. It raised $60m from the deal via lead manager and global coordinator Elara Capital.

The largest private sector company in Vietnam, with a market capitalisation of $1.23bn, HAGL is the first Vietnamese firm to issue equity outside the country.
