UBS syndicate under pressure as two join Citi

Equity syndicate bankers at UBS are feeling the pressure this week after two of their colleagues left within a fortnight — forcing the remaining team to manage an increasing number of deals.

This accompanied a wider reshuffle of the capital markets team in Asia that included Sam Kendall being promoted to head of ECM.

The Swiss bank is looking for a replacement for Kendall as head of ECM syndicate, but he will remain in the job for the time being. ...
