Emerging market sovereigns savour quickfire $2.8bn

Emerging markets sovereigns showed off their striking investor appeal this week as the Russian Federation swept back into the international bond market to complete its 2011 external funding programme, while the Republic of Lebanon scooped $1bn on its first appearance this year.
