Lloyds capital markets bankers applaud Géczy promotion

A shake-up in the senior ranks at Lloyds Banking Group has resulted in Andrew Géczy, the head of markets, taking on an expanded role that will include corporate banking and transaction banking.

Capital markets staff have welcomed the news, interpreting it as a further sign that new chief executive António Horta-Osório is fully supportive of the bank’s investment banking business.
