Jindal delays loan in hopes of four more commitments

JINDAL Steel has delayed signing its $475m five year loan as it waits for four more banks to consider the deal, despite it already being covered, according to a banker working on it.

The borrower has already committed seven banks into syndication but lenders still looking at the credit asked it to extend the timing until next week. If these banks come into the deal it would be oversubscribed, according to a banker.
