Stronger balance sheets create opportunity, says FIG investor

While bank credit may be falling out of favour with some investors, one fixed income asset manager has established a new FIG fund, saying strengthening bank balance sheets will create investment opportunities.

European Credit Management has established a €500m fund to invest in global FIG credits across the capital structure. It aims to generate returns of 6%-10% above Euribor over the next two years, with returns dropping to 3%-5% over Euribor thereafter.
