Bond caution comes back to bite China

The country has consistently neglected evolving its debt markets, which could cause some major problems as it is seeking now to scale up the level of local bond issuance to support its stimulus plan objectives.

As Beijing seeks to source the huge stimulus package it has committed to in its fiscal spending plan, China’s bond market is sure to witness a huge array of new deals.
