JP Morgan picks Urwin, replaces Abdelnour as Asia chief

JPMorgan has picked Jeff Urwin as its new chief executive officer for Asia Pacific, replacing former boss Gaby Abdelnour, who is leaving the bank in the summer.

Urwin is now the head of global investment banking coverage, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions — and will keep these jobs. But he will relocate from New York to Hong Kong in May, and will from that point on be based in the former British colony.
