IPO fever drives Asian equity markets

A total of nine debut offerings were launched last week in the region, leading to a 64% rise in ECM deals by value from the week before. Petronas’ first international bond in seven years helped debt markets to improve, while M&A activity was led by ANZ’s acquisition of select RBS Asian assets.
