Standard & Poor’s said it plans to introduce a new product designed to help investors determine the riskiness of synthetic collateralized debt obligations.

Standard & Poor’s said it plans to introduce a new product designed to help investors determine the riskiness of synthetic collateralized debt obligations. S&P is currently seeking feedback from market participants on the recovery tool, which it calls synthetic tranche recovery metrics.
