IOSCO Spells Out Emerging Market Principles
Financial regulators in emerging market countries must beef up disclosure requirements for both public and private securitization offerings, encourage trading of asset- and mortgage-backed securities in exchanges, and aim to push for greater transparency in over-the-counter markets, according to a new study by the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
